The arrival a new dog should always be a happy event, but this fine fellow comes to us in bittersweet circumstances. He’s a rescue dog, technically. The beloved companion of four small girls and their mum. A real estate agent learned of him and told them he had to go. Or they did. So we took him in. He’s a lovely dog with a great personality. But I have mixed feelings about the necessity of his arrival.
that's so awful for that family, tenancy laws in this country are a criminal disgrace.
That said, it's good that you were able to take him and give him a good home, and that the girls will be able to stay in touch with him. But yeah, definitely mixed feelings for how and why he came to you 😓
It is sad when these situations occur. We have a rescue Poodle, a standard, that we got at about 10 months old. Lovely dog but sad for the previous owner children.
Maybe you can have some real estate agents have a really terrible time in one of your upcoming books, John
That's the definition of bittersweet.
As long as you can train him to fart under your writing desk, it's all good.
What a beautiful boy. Those kids hearts will be broken though :(
good looking dog, you will be fine and so will she, it sucks. But its better than what could be if yuoudidnt!!!!!
that is sad and great at the same time , it's good they can visit
Nice looking pup! Is it possible for the girls to visit pup?
those poor girls will be devastated.. wonder if it would be better or worse for them if they got to have playdates with their pupper?
That's a real shame. We got a Dalmatian years ago under similar circumstances.
