that's so awful for that family, tenancy laws in this country are a criminal disgrace.

That said, it's good that you were able to take him and give him a good home, and that the girls will be able to stay in touch with him. But yeah, definitely mixed feelings for how and why he came to you 😓

It is sad when these situations occur. We have a rescue Poodle, a standard, that we got at about 10 months old. Lovely dog but sad for the previous owner children.

those poor girls will be devastated.. wonder if it would be better or worse for them if they got to have playdates with their pupper?

That's a real shame. We got a Dalmatian years ago under similar circumstances.
