It's weird, but when I first started getting migraines they would come at three in the morning.

My GP prescribed me something called Relpax (which may or may not be the brand name, not the actual name) and if you take it about 30 minutes before the migraine kicks in (if you're lucky enough to get that window) it steps in and beats the migraine before it starts. First time I did this I felt this weird void like my brain was telling me that something should be happening but it isn't.

As with anything, consult your doctor, etc., because not every writer has graduated from UQ with Honours in Medicine ;)

I just heard about that treatment the other day. Thinking of giving it a try. This thing really put the zap on my head today. no pain, but a real void.

I remember a freaky 3 in the morning migraine. Dream had the pixelated vision in it, then woke up. I thank dog regularly that I haven't had one in a long time.

Each to their own with the painkillers, but it's ibuprofen for me. Panadol does nothing.

This is true but I had an empty stomach so I wasn’t up for ibuprofen
