You definitely should watch Travellers. They do finish the story and it's pretty satisfying. Travellers is my TV show version of Perdido Street Station. It's the thing I recommend to everyone.

You should read Perdido Street Station by China Mieville. It is fantastic.

It completely changed how I view fantasy.

Oh Travellers is great, it wraps up very satisfyingly. I just finished The Veil on Disney, which was an efficient 6 episode spy thriller with Elisabeth Moss, so I will now look into Continuum.

Yeah I remember watching it at the time and enjoying it. I envy you being able to watch the whole series without having to wait between seasons, especially given my brains inevitable "whose that character?, why are they with them, where did they get that from..." So I tend to wait until the whole thing drops. Unless its on Netflix with its stupid if you don't watch what we give you RIGHT NOW we aren't making any more....

There is yet another Day of the Triffids? I shall have to look that one up. I reread the book a while back and found it to be Terribly British in tone, circa 1950s…

I think the one Birmo is referring to is the 2009 mini series one with Dougray Scott and Joely Richardson but only he could confirm.

I'm on series 3 now (following your rec). The prescience is frightening and I may need to pause it for a while as the real world is getting too dark for me.

S3 gets super dark, but they all live happily ever after at the end of S4. Well, except everyone who dies.

There’s a 12 Monkeys TV series.

I’ll have to look that one up.

Reminds me, I’ll have to look up S2 of Good Omens. I enjoyed S1, for something a bit lighter.
