"Been down in Melbourne for a couple of days" and I think all agree, Melbourne has been all the better for it.

Does iPad = procrastination temptation on steroids?

Melbourne is usually renowned for 4 seasons in one day. Is it getting worse?

I’d agree that Melbourne generally takes the sartorial crown. Maybe the young fellas were also from out of town. Hopefully they have learnt the error of their ways.

Hmm. That’s weird. I wonder if there are some geofencing rights shenanigans underway

it happens. And it seems a bit random. I enjoyed the Black Tongue Thief (2021) by Christopher Buehlman. A very rare example of an author being the narrator and making it all the better for it. (i think he has a background in renfaires/performance art or something). And the prequel/sequel book narrated by someone else as it was from the POV of a woman (2024) was also released in audio here but his book published in 2012 and has an audio version on american audible is geolocked. Anyway, i have a list of books in my notes on my phone that i reference back to audible occasionally or pick it up in physical form if i see it around. I dont usually go out of my way for a physical copy these days as i dont get much sit down time (and i try and use that to watch stuff on tv, if i dont fall asleep once i park my butt in a chair)

As a new Victorian, I find the weather a bit weird, but one day it was so weird, even my colleagues thought to comment upon it. I think it was rain sun rain hail sun wind thunderstorms.

It’s been pretty weird. Mid 30s when I arrived. Mid teens this morning.
