I love an exciting premise that the writer sticks to and explores possible ramifications and still provides an unexpected but completely reasonable twist/suprise to me. If you watch the series you will understand what I mean. Great show.
and the bit where Teddy Roosevelt appears riding a tyrannosaurs to stop the Hindenburg being blown up the Thule society to prevent Atlantis falling, pure cinema.
Agreed. Too many shows start out as one thing and then abandon the original idea for something else along the line. The German series Dark comes to mind. It lost me along the way. At the end it was not the same show I started.
I was watching a bit at a time because it had me so STRESSED in parts. Haven't read the book so am curious what parts he tinkered with in the end.

Having now watched the show, YES. That twist triggered a "holy shit, OF COURSE!" response from me when I got to it.
I'm going to read "Dark Matter" by Blake Crouch, based on your recommendation. It better not suck! 😎🌠
Oh this is on my watch list but I'll bump it up in priority now!
Happy to do a recap podcast once I'm caught up if you need someone to vent to. We can give it Nat to publish on Raven On
I'm in.
Awesome! I have a flight to Sydney tomorrow, I'll load it up on my tablet 🤩
