"(a Russian invasion of Europe being the story engine of the new series)" the length some publishers will go to to promote one of their authors.

I have consulted widely with the CG crew and over at Patreon and we will allow you the whole weekend off, three light beers and one takeaway meal of your choice. Then get those fingers back on the keyboard. Cant be fairer than that.

Given the events overnight, I hope the new book doesn't also include a Russian invasion of Russia

I still remember when I saw WW2.1 in the bookstore and was like "John Birmingham? The guy that wrote felafel? Can't be. this looks like a sci fi technothriller."

Needless to say I was absolutely delighted to be wrong.

Can't wait for this one.

Ahh 18 months later and nothing.

Ah well, I'm sure writing in Trump expy's that are killed in multiple fashions must get exhausting. Probably almost as exhausting as voting Green party in every election right?

I can't WAIT to pirate your writings.

I just saw this post. Really looking forward to Axis 3 - it's been a while. Please don't forget the maps.

Interesting how times have changed (as it were). I recall from the earlier books that Uncle Joe had Putin's parents exiled to different ends of the Soviet Union so dear old Vlad would never be born. There's a silver lining to every cloud.

thanks heaps JB, and congrats mate

having read most of your books (some even twice) and thoroughly enjoyed them, hoping for a " Beginning of New Days " to sequel the "End of Days " Series 

P.S: Rupert Degas's narration was the cherry on the top.

Just something about reading a book. I tried audio but I’m listening while doing something else. I can’t do both. May have a touch of ADHD. Couple that with immaturity and it’s a no go on the audio.

I have to be doing something else while I listen, so I consume podcasts while I'm driving, folding laundry, gardening etc. Same for audio books, they're just longer podcasts for me.

I do jigsaws while listening to podcasts - each must use different bits of the brain; I find it doubly relaxing.
