Now that we have a couple of small humans in the house, it’s all “feed me” and then please fuck off to bed, at news time, so I feel a little out of the loop. If it wasn’t for the Guardian I’d know nothing at all, and even they are restricting access unless I cough up some dollarydoos. There must be people constantly in the non news cycle. Is that good or bad? I’m leaning to bad.
Anyway, perhaps after Christmas you could have some cold turkey.
I understand this urge to Apple News the hours away. I think it's partially responsible for my piled up book stack. There's more than a few cool books I'd like to read, but haven't.
I totally relate. Jews vs Arabs v 12.0. Russian aggression v 9.0. Climate Change anal insertions. American political idiocy v 5.0. The Destruction of twitter, ai global takeover, it’s so like a certain Billy Joel song. JB, Please, please, please write your books so we can read them and escape the swirling cesspool that is current affairs. Hearts and emojis from your readers.
I wish you well with your endeavors, do whatever you need to look after your mental health. I fear we will all need to draw upon our reserves sooner rather than later.

Yeah that app is a big time suck for me. I need to learn how to control it better.
I'm thinking of setting a timer.

Thanks Chris.
Flipboard is my kryptonite.
I shudder to think of the hours I’ve accumulated flipping through those carefully curated pages.
