Expecting to be in lockdown any day now we took a day trip yesterday to the Scenic Rim, a sort of ancient cordillera of long, long extinct volcanos, or their weathered cores at least. After two days of hard gusting winds and occasional rain, it turned out to be a spectacular day.
We hit a small local brewery in Alford with some of Jane’s swim group friends…
And I caught up with an old mate…
It was a nice day to kick off what promises to be an unpleasant week. I have to go back to hospital on Wednesday to get more shit drained off my lungs.
Look at you, flaunting your unlockeddownedness while I have to suffer in Gladys' shitpickle with family in Melbourne laughing at us, even while they are in lockdown but probs not for long because they know what they are doing down there.
Seriously, not much has really changed for us in lockdown, other than maybe not meeting up with family once or twice over this time.
This is spectacular, the weather gods smiled on you!
Does getting the giant needle shoved into your lung and the fluid drained off hurt like a motherf***er? Because it seems like it should, even if you feel better afterwards.

Envious just a bit. Beautiful…but extinct?? Too early to call I say. It is 2021 after all.
Hope your hospital visit is short and painless
What a lovely day. Good luck with Wednesday, with that fluid you showed on a previous post-better out than in.
