“ Blumhouse's low-budget model began in 2007 with Paranormal Activity, which was made for $15,000 and grossed over $193 million worldwide.”
Blumhouse must be up there with the world’s most prolific production houses. They do horror almost exclusively. In the last 20 years, they have produced over 200 movies and TV series. Plus books, video games and the Blumhouse of Horrors, an interactive haunted house experience in Downtown Los Angeles
They must have spent a fair bit more than usual on The Bondsman to get Kevin Bacon onboard.
Was discussing getting rid of prime off the list after we watched Reacher. I hate this algorithm they have tweaked down to the atomic level to stop people from leaving : ) although a mate and i were discussing the amount we spend on streaming. In the old days you'd spend minimum $7(?) on renting a top tier new release movie from blockbuster every week which is more expensive than running two streaming services a month on the basic offer.
I can also play six degrees of kevin bacon - my dads cousin is(was) Roger Moore. Most actors in hollywood are only 2 degrees off Kevin. Which means i can get there in 5 (4 on a technicality, Dad was pretty young when they'd met each other, but otherwise the link is their spinster aunts that looked after most of the kids in the family during/after the war), Roger Moore, John Cleese (or a number of other actors) then Bacon.

I am definitely looking forward to this. Has those Ash x Reaper vibes.
They had me at "back from the dead... a nearly-forgotten musical career"
