Had a bunch of doctor appointments yesterday, starting over at Yeronga, which allowed me to indulge in one of my favourite things - the big breakfast at the Yeronga Bakery.
Look at this bad boy.
Just look at it, damn you!
It even comes with a cappuccino…
… and all for a lousy $13.50.
This joint sits on the edge of a carpark in a small, unremarkable shopping centre across four lanes of traffic from a railway line.
And yet it is a great breakfast. Perhaps the greatest breakfast.
That is a great price, and while I don't always get a big breakfast, I have never had regrets when I do.
A few years ago we were in Warrnambool for a few days, and we found out some iconic milk bar was celebrating 40 years or something, so we turned up for breakfast expecting it to be packed. It was not. It was next to empty and I think they overordered on bacon, so we had bacon lying everywhere all over the plate. Good times.

This is my dream.

Extremely relevant.
Sorry, that looks like about half a full Scottish that I (occasionally, honest!) indulge in on a sunday at a local pub.
Which does explain the average Scottish lifespan....
That looks so good that is has to be healthy
Those scramblies are SO fluffy! And the toast! I have extreme breakfast envy 😫
