It was so good of you to do a tour of all the favourite spots. That final drive is so hard. So sorry John.

I know just how it feels when a beloved pet, but really a member of the family, goes on. My heart goes out to you.

Sorry for your loss, our lab reached the end of the road nine years ago and it still hurts.

Sorry to hear that JB. I know your pain at the moment, and your words are so true. Brings me to tears yet again as we go through the almost unbearable sadness of losing those closest to us. I am struggling but will get through it again - revisited your 7 stages plus CS Lewis, A Grief Observed.

I'm sorry, losing a dog rips you up. Some of the worst days of my life. I'm crying as I type this and can only imagine how you feel. It sounds like she had a great life and loved you all to the very end.

It's cheesy as hell, but the rainbow bridge story I found comforting. I can only hope I'll see all my boys again some day.

I hope it helps you a little.

Dogs leave pawprints on our heart. They take a piece of it when they leave and leave a piece of theirs behind. My heart is totally dog pieces now. She wants you to save two lives now, yours and a pup who needs you.
