Lighters in the air, everyone. It's a big day when a book launches. Especially a good one like this.

So this is weird. I’m reading the new book at you write it on Paetron, but never read the first book (please forgive me!) should I continue to read the 2nd story and then come back to it? I am enjoying it and do like the mystery of not knowing what came before

Ooh, that's a really good question. I'd probably read the first one first. But it's not entirely necessary. What you have done, though, is make me question a whole bunch of narrative choices in book 2.

well then, in the interest of (literacy) science I will continue to read this story without reading the first book. I like the perspective of not knowing the past and following the story through Coopers (current) eyes!

I would be legit interested in how you find it. One of things I want to do with this series is write it so that people can pick it up anywhere.

very good. I'll lift my feedback game on ol patreon. my initial thoughts from when the first couple of chapters landed was.....hmmm it seems like I should know something about this character already (with the way it is written)...did I miss a memo/previous chapter (no but I totally missed you giving it the title "sleeper agent 2").....then I just got on with the reading, figured it would sort itself out. And it pretty much has now, last couple of chapters filled it in.

Nabbed it in Kindle. Just in time for a lazy weekend. Hmm. Need to get a few reviews in as well, including for Mr Lambright.

See, this is what you miss when you don't check the burger on the daily.

Smashing my way through Asher's enormous Polity setting at the moment, so some spy splodey story telling is just what I needed.
