Just got home from a morning of surgery. Had a couple of skin cancers cut out of my back, one of them right on the scapula. This next bit is where I try to remind myself about not overdoing it and letting everything heal.
Might start with a cup of tea, a handful of painkillers, and a couple of hours watching the Robodebt royal commission.
Please watch and provide a review of "The Last of Us" in your down time. Thinking about watching it but would like to make sure it is good. Thanks for helping.
I watched a bit last week. It was the most riveting TV I've seen in ages. I was on tenterhooks after each question was asked, the pause for the answer was amazing, and then the cliffhanger endings were OMG.
Take advantage of enforced downtime, it's not often you're given express instructions to be slack!
Hope things heal quickly and well, that bit taken out of your scapula could prove bothersome if you overdo things. You might need to enlist an offspring to lift your tea cup for you, maybe fan you and feed you some grapes, you can't be too careful 😂
Sounds like a plan. Pushing too hard after surgery can be costly.

Even the Sun is trying to kill you.
What type of painkillers?
Asking for a friend.
Panadiene Forte
this post reminded me i haven't booked my yearly skin check up with the doc. Been getting the kids involved now as well so it is seen as normal.
Rest up..... It’s only minor surgery if you’re not the one having it
