"There is something pleasing about remaining dry while others get wet." Laughs. My life while doing stints as an instructor in my former life. This is a sentiment I connect with at a deep level.

Watching dogs having fun in mud and rain is indeed one of life's great joys.

Doing sweaty things with rubber is more of a personal preference, I suspect.

It's the milder form of "there's something very pleasing about being on holiday while others are at work". I imagine that there are many such small comparative joys.
