I was ditzing around on the interwebz looking for something to write about when a story dropped into my feed about Obliterated, Netflix’s Tom Clancy/Hangover mashup.
And I was like, Oh yeah, I started watching that and I didn’t hate it.
After about three eps, I still didn’t hate it, but I sort of, er, forgot about it until that story dropped into my feed again.
It was a bit like an app that gets pushed off your phone’s home screen and onto the second page. For a while, you remind yourself that it’s there and that you should really swipe through and check it out again. And then you forget, and it slips to the third page and, well, that’s game over innit.
I’m like this with so much nowadays. Content, I guess. It’s all just content. Books, tv shows, movies, albums, everything.
I have an app called Sofa that I paid good electronic money for. It’s supposed to help me keep track of what I’m following.
But it slipped onto the second screen of my phone. So, you know…
How do you remember outsourcing your memory?
I get you. Its one of the reasons I wait for a whole series to drop before I begin watching it. that way I can just focus my attention when I have down time and want to watch something I jump back into the series where I left off. Currently up to episode 5 of Monarch legacy of Monsters on Apple +, final episode due to drop this Friday. The I will start watching For All Mankind series four (last EP of season this Friday as well).
