We had to buy more paint on the weekend for the never-ending saga of repainting the house. I, er, I didn’t cover myself in glory. We’ve been using ‘Whisper White’ on the inside walls and two brands offer that shade. Dulux and Taubmans.
But we’ve been using British Paints external matt white on the outside of the house and, well, I got it into my head that we were also using British Paints Whisper White inside the house too. Even though there is no such paint.
Quite the man-tanty, let me tell you when I tried to convince Jane she was wrong-wrong-wrong.
I only conceded in the end because I thought the $200 spend would be worth it to be proved right.
All the way home I was virtually hugging myself, thinking, this is gonna be so sweet.
Right up until I got into the room with all the old paints.
