Larson.
Every day I ask myself why I still have a Facebook account, and most days Gary Larson reminds me why. I clicked on a couple of Larson fan pages once, and the algo being what it is, my timeline filled up with Far Side cartoons.
This is pretty much the only good thing that ever happened on Facebook.
I used to love a new Larson cartoon and thought I’d seen all the classics.
Until this one dropped for me today.
Apparently, it’s considered one of the greatest, if not THE greatest single-panel, textless cartoons ever.
I’d probably agree.
Which is why I’m amazed I’ve never seen it before.
I can't believe I've never seen it either.
The Midvale School for the Gifted cartoon, of the gifted child pushing against the door clearly marked 'pull' is the ultimate expression of "I feel seen AND attacked". IT ME 😫
