A couple of weeks ago I got in on Jason Lambright’s new Patreon project, The Promised Land. It’s a cool looking sci-fi story that twists a bunch of elements I’ve always liked—recorded consciousness, massive timescales, military SF—into something that looks special and new.
Jason’s worked with me on a bunch of projects these last couple of years, and we’ve got some of that collaborative work coming out in the near future. But The Promised Land is all his and one of things I’ve really enjoyed about it is seeing just how far his writing has developed since I first discovered his first novel, In the Valley.
If you’re looking for something to do in lockdown, or just something cool to read, go check it out. The first three chapters are free.
Hear, Hear!

This is pretty awesome. Thanks, all!
It's very exciting to watch this unfold Jason, can't wait to see where you take us
