$32.9 billion.... SERIOUSLY is this what the solider need, or is it what some defence procurement contacts wants. FFS "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron". ― Dwight D. Eisenhower

There was an article yesterday, maybe the Guardian, which I did not read, but skipped to the comments, where "the genius of its scientists" who are forever chasing sub sub sub atomic particles could better utilise their efforts into solving climate change, for example.

Surely you should be attending landforce 2022 in Brissy, a great way to get up to date with the latest and greatest cost effective way of 'neutralizing potential opposition' with a kill to cost ratio that will appeal to all bean counters. Does not matter, I really enjoyed WW2.1 and the others but am quite happy to keep my greyhound and not replace him with anything from Boston Dynamics, even with vet bills its likely to be cheaper.
