I had to get a CAT scan done this morning. Nothing alarming (hopefully). I just have a new chest specialist and he decided he'd quite like some new scans to compare with the ones I had done a year ago when I was crook as a dog.
My appointment was at 10am, over in Taringa, just a couple of streets away from where The Tasmanian Babes was set/actually happened. The procedure was all covered by Medicare, so that was cool, but I had to go without food or water beforehand.
That was uncomfortable and it got a little gnarlier when a migraine came on at about nine o'clock - possibly because my bloodstream was screaming out for caffeine.
I couldn't take anything of course. I had to nut that one out until the scan was done.
Rewarded myself with a trip toMorning After over at West End where I had the southern fried chicken benny for both breakfast and lunch. And possibly dinner.
This thing hits like a fucking Tiger tank, I tells ya.
If you ever pack in the writing you could fire up with "JBs white knuckle brunch tours of Straya". I'd buy tickets:-)

wow! I'm gonna have to learn how to make that. the chicken I can do, but is there truffles in that sauce?
I think there is a plan for the universe. Obviously chicken evolved to be fried.
Surely your chest specialist would have Opinions about this too.
