I managed to get some writing done while I was wandering through the brain fog after melanoma surgery, but I wasn't allowed to do any kind of exercise.
I often do pyramids if I am stuck running on a treadmill. I like them because you reach this peak that you have to hang on at, but when you start down the other side it's not instant relief, but more of an active recovery.
Even when I'm sick or injured I feel like I need to exercise. It lifts the mood, even if it's only at low intensity.
