More to come maybe?

An interesting few days for sure. I enjoyed it and the fact that Putin had to negotiate an ending was interesting. The heavy think pieces in the US are saying the regime is totally fucked as a lot of the military was sitting it out.

The swap of the Wagner group are murderous villains, to courageous freedom fighters, to vile murderous thugs so fast it gave me whiplash.

I mentioned to Mr Lambright over the weekend about your observation when it first kicked off and the world was waiting for Zelensky to be assassinated and Ukraine to fall that the only way this ends is with the generals putting a bullet in the back of Putin's head, and I honestly thought that process might be kicking off, and then... nothing. Zero stars. Didn't even open my popcorn.

yeah - i was watching this unfold as well. I'm pretty sure at one stage when you looked up schadenfreude in the online dictionary it was a picture of me trawling news sites over the weekend. In one of the articles i read (it may have been an opinion piece on the ABC) i was reading that Wagner has about 25000 troops but its relatively small compared to some of the oligarchs over there that have private armies of up to 50K? That sounds very . . . . . . dangerous.

One thing you've gotta love about Eastern European authoritarians and oligarchs is that they know that gold-coloured furnishings always make the right statement.
