This is a great version of a song I didn’t really dig much in the original form by Bowie. (Yeah, sue me). There is something wonderful and uplifting about it. Joy enough to carry you through another day of the never-ending ‘rona.
Really good. To be fair, I'd probably be happy to listen to David Byrne read out his shopping list.
There's a book out by Chris Franz from Talking Heads, just read a review on it, sounds really interesting. And he apparently shares some _views_ on David Byrne that really aren't that surprising. But one I liked was about how in the last 15-20 years Byrne has presented this very warm and likeable persona, in contrast to when he was younger.
Great version, have always admired David Byrne's abilities. Just out of interest, have you seen the Couch Choir version? We did this one as a family, the 5 of us, and was great fun.
Goosebumps. Actually agree that this is not one of my favourite Bowie songs, but that is lovely. But Byrne not Bowie for title line. Thanks for the uplift in these 'rona days.
David Bowie and some friends sing HEROES and it's fantastic.

Great version and I really liked the Bowie original - I'd love to hear them do his song "Five years".
