Been keeping my head down, literally, this week. I’m entering the final few days of a three week long treatment with Effudix, a skin cancer cream, to wipe out the last of the baby BCC’s growing on my noggin.
It’s gross.
I’ve had this treatment before, and it is a wonder drug, but it’s also kind of a horror show. No pics. You’d faint, if you were lucky. I finish the last application;ication next Tuesday and I am very much looking forward to it.
My optometrist was having that on his bald pate when I last visited him. He was very embarrassed and apologetic. I said to him, “Don’t worry about it mate. What it says to me is, Queenslander!”
Just take care of yourself. I think that you might have some potential as a writer and would hate to see that potential cut short.
This made me laugh, which made my head hurt.
My job here is done.

A quick google image search reveals you made an excellent choice not to show pics. Stay well.
Thank you for doing the work so that others would not have to.
