Man, you really work out how committed you are to something when you have to go out into the winter’s cold and the rain to do it.
Time rolled around last night for me to kit up and head out to jujitsu. It was as miserable as a Prussian romance and there was a nice big pot of lamb neck soup bubbling away on the stove. Someone had just opened a bottle of red wine.
Of course, I went to training, but at least I had the satisfaction of having a big toenail ripped off in a throw.

Also, apparently, we were colder than Melbourne yesterday, so their bad weather-whinging rights are forever revoked.
Canberra says hi, and wants to know whether it would be worth packing a jumper on a trip to visit Brisbane.
