Thanks to Wolfcat for this link to an interesting (but longish) doco on the Toob of U about the film everyone thinks inspired Weapons of Choice. (Spoiler, it didn’t. Matt Reilly’s Ice Station, and being bored with researching Leviathan, inspired WoC).
Proof that time travel and the inescapable loop of time does exist. At some point in the near future before books are being used as fuel to roast a stringy rat over a meagre fire someone will be transported back to 1978 with a copy of WoC (quickly followed by the event of sleeping with their grandmother, because apparently that is also an inescapable loop hole of time travel and why people don't generally do it)
Is there a counter-argument that WoC inspired this instead? 😂
Seems legit.

That's the whole premise of Bodies on Netflix except it's his great or great great granny.
Bah, spoiler alert please! OMG Mrs W and I are 4 episodes deep and just keeping up with the plot twists.
Don't worry, it so fucking complicated you are in danger of being spoiled. Good show but.
If its twisty turning time winy confusing stuff you seek Might I recommend the German 2017 series on Netflix titled 'Dark'
Is that the one with the cave/tunnel thing?
Soz, but yeah, that's minor in the scheme of things.
hahaha, i'll have to watch it now.
