If he survived the drop bear forest and the cemetery of carnivorous murder roos the bunyip caves should be a doddle, I'm sure you could leave him there unsupervised for a couple of hours while you do your interview 😇
Make sure he gets a night out camping where there are disgruntled brush tailed possums. That screeching never fails to raise the hackles even though intellectually i understand there isnt anything big enough to eat me on the spot out there.
p.s. welcome to Australia Mr Lambright. May you enjoy all it has to offer, even if you do spend all your time stuck up in those warmer climes where the heat makes them a bit dotty, present company on this page excluded of course ; )
Speaking of the word mines, I thought of something I wanted to ask you while you were AFK - did you say the second book in The Girl in Time series was going to appear in a non-digital format at some stage, or was I just having the most wonderful dream?
It’s a pity that Cadbury stopped making The Yowie… it’s fun to watch the reaction of overseas guests when you tell them they’re having deep fried Yowies for dessert.
(I guess it sounds more like an appetiser that you might serve with tartare sauce and a lemon wedge than a dessert.)
If you're going to Southbank, you should challenge him to find the gympie-gympie tree there. A friend of mine from Indonesia did once - we took him to the PA, the doctor on duty was a pom who had never heard of gympie-gympie and had no idea what to do, so we ended up providing our own course of medication for him...
Glad to hear that you had guests. Every time there is a gap in posting I think the worst.
Looking forward to the continuing saga of WW3.
You on writing a book "It’s a novel experience for me" LOL

I just got the 1st installment in analogue format and was dismayed that I couldn't order the second, so this is a very timely question! 😊
D'oh! I forgot to do this. And I've got the files just sitting there waiting too.
Omigodomigodomigod. Squeeeeee!!
There's an interesting story behind the publication of the first one, IIRC.
Are you going the same route with this one?
Please tell Jason that I also loved the Ohio Rifles series

One may still purchase a Yowie from the supermarket, at least Woolies. Not sure if it's Cadburys though. Could just be a shapeless generic cocoa mass.
