Man, I wish I’d known about this when I was writing the Zero Day series. Although I don’t know if anybody would have believed it.
This dude bought an old British army truck and turned it onto an off road capable tiny house. With a gun turret! (Which he might need since his itinerary took him through Ukraine and Russia).
Awesome. The only thing I might have done is hook up a flame thrower for rascally zombies and varmints. Also great for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows when you don’t have a lot of time.
There's a whole spin off series ready to be written about some poor schmuck tootling around off road in the badlands somewhere who suddenly discovers he's now inadvertently top of the survivalist food chain once civilisation collapses.
"And to think I kept the gun turret as a useful safari watch post... WHO KNEW???"
Apocalypse ready tiny home on wheels!

This prompts me to ask, when is American Kill Switch out for kindle - for those of us who have been waiting for a written version?
Seen a few people do this with Unimogs
