I had some big productivity plans yesterday, but I was slightly delayed at the start of the day when someone, not me, needed a pastry. Just because I didn’t need a pastry doesn’t mean I wasn’t going to get a pastry, however.
Or so I thought.
It turns out there are no decent pastry shops open in Brisbane on a Monday, so after driving around for an hour, I had to settle on a small Basque cheesecake from Banneton Bakery instead.
You know the burnt Basque cheesecakes are not that hard to make, right? Then you can have cheesecake everyday without leaving the house. I can't see any issues with that
please tell me when you couldn't find a pastry shoppe you muttered the words "let them eat cake"
I literally LOLed at this - fortunately (?) there were no people in the bookshop.
Bad dessert is more offensive than no dessert.
