I'm in awe of your ability to bend reality to your will and get the leasing company to aknowlege what should be real and change the world with their keystrokes. Well done.

Not wanting to be unsympathetic, but if you'd stuck with hovercraft you wouldn't have problems like this.

As an experienced bureaucrat (now cured) I am sure the issue at the leasing company was resolving who was to blame for the f**k up, once they realised they couldn’t blame you, (the main issue) before actually addressing the problem and hitting those keys.

I had the weird experience of the leasing company not coming after me for my balloon payment on the car for several months after the lease ended. I was driving around and vaguely wondering why they'd stopped hitting me up for my monthly payment, and it was only after I logged into my leasing account and saw where things were up to, that I bounced several thousand dollarydoos their way and attained ownership of my CX3. In hindsight I wonder how long it would have taken them to get around to letting me know they'd like their money or their car back...

The admin nightmare with car leases is so real. You think you've closed everything out properly and then eighteen months later you find out they never updated the paperwork. It's wild that the leasing company took all that time and threats to fix somthing that should have taken six keystrokes from the begining. At least Volvo was upfront about not being able to take delivery until it was sorted, saved you from even bigger problems later. Hope the EX30 lives up to the hassel!

When corporate idiots have been strangling you in red tape, you're entitled to unwind and do nothing for a good while.

Can you still do that if you work for said corporate idiots? Wait…I know the answer to this…it’s yes.
