I had a weekend down coast for Supernova, which was tiring but fun. I was on the writers’ booth with Alan Baxter, Amanda Bridgeman, Maria Lewis and Jeremy Szal, all of whom have books scattered across my ridiculous number of e-readers. So that was cool. It was a hell of a thing watching them work the floor, too. I've only ever been to a couple of Supernovas and I've always gone as an invited guest, so I tend to sit around on my arse and wait for the punters to roll up with old books or new, for a signing and a chat.
My shed still better than their merch stand ;-)
i like that they hid wally in that case : )
Up late. Nice and cool atm.
I did wonder how you went at the convention.
Even just being aware of all the people gets tiring.
Never mind health stuff popping up.
Hey, JB, did you get this residual - I got it sometimes after a whole day at conferences - a residual chatter when you'd left?
Like an echo of crowd chatter.
I figure it was my brain filing away the day's memories.
From day long conferences.
Be interesting to know how many others get it sometimes.
Any naked sweary Scots doing cosplay?
Nerdgasm! Looking at those display cases I kind of shocked myself as to how many of this items rang a bell with me.
