This is both amusing and horrifying.
Looks like I would need an Enigma type code breaker to get through more than a paragraph or two .
ROFLMAO
Spot of googling later:
So that Redit post was in 2021, and it inspired a GitHub to crowd-source teh whole thing. But of course it did: https://github.com/typoes/harry-potter-gen-z/blob/main/book_1/chapter_1.md
That first chapter goes by "Harry Potter and the Smart-Ass Stones", according to the Makefile that produces ebooks...
The next ones are:
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Ratios
Harry Potter and the Locked-up Dude
Harry Potter and the Chug Jug of Fiya
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Ratios is "lit" if I have my yooful lingo correct 😂
I read and enjoyed those awhile ago. Added bonus no $ from my reading ended up in the maximum TERF's pocket.
there's also a mildly entertaining parody that actually got published called Barry Trotter and the Philosophers Scone. I chortled at the bit about the philosophers scone (or as it lays out for the americans: Barry Trotter and the magic biscuit).
I think the niche film production companies from the San Fernando Valley made their own version too.
Have you seen Scottish Harry Potter?
Please tell me it's in the style of Malcolm Tucker...
I've only really sussed out the first page - https://www.reddit.com/r/harrypotter/comments/90j7q4/first_page_of_philosophers_stone_in_scottish/#lightbox
