Hello. My name is JB, and I am a terrible procrastinator. Always have been. Always will be.

But I try not to let it drag me down to hell. Just because I was born and remain a degenerate time waster, down in my meat and bones, doesn’t mean I have to waste every hour of every day.

It took me a long time to learn that and to learn what I could do about it.

Over the years, I’ve written a lot on this topic, and those pieces have been some of the most popular, most widely shared articles and columns I’ve ever published. Or maybe they weren’t popular, exactly. Maybe it’s just that those of us who suffer from this… thing—about 20% of the adult population—maybe they were just so fucking desperate for help that they couldn’t stop themselves reading and sharing. Especially if they had something better to be doing.

Anyway, in line with a promise to myself to try and be helpful, I’ve pulled together everything I’ve learned about procrastination and crammed it into one short book. Short, because if you’re like me, you don’t need another excuse to blow off a whole day doing something other than whatever the hell you should actually be doing.
