It's a surprise to me that we still have must-see TV. Or appointment television, or whatever the marketing wizards are calling it these days. I suspect most folks do have at least one series they wait for each week. For me, at the moment, it’s Masters of the Air on Apple TV. A new episode drops every Friday, and by mid-afternoon I'm already getting antsy waiting for a chance to sit down with it. I am also, as it turns out, a fully grown man with a wife and family, which sometimes get in the way of sitting down and watching my favourite TV show and, oh boy, that isn't something you want to see.
Anyway, I'll assume everybody here knows what the series is about, and I don't intend to get into any spoilerific discussions of the various narrative arcs so far. (Also known as, er, history). I'm going to save that for Burger Night. I enjoyed the book club discussion so much last week that I've decided to host something semi-regular, say once a month, whether anybody has read a book or not. Since I know that Jason L is watching Masters too, I figure it might as well be the first TV show we discuss.
Is anybody else following the series, and interested in getting together on Zoom for a chat when it's over?
Yeah! We could have a thing if you'd like. I'll just have to juggle timezones.
Half way through really good, if your enjoying it a few things that may interest you.
